Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located between University College Dublin and the city center, making it a perfect spot for us. The rooms were spacious, but could be a bit chilly without heating. The staff went above and beyond to assist, especially during the unexpected closure of hospitality. However, the club's distance from the city center meant relying on taxis, which added up in cost.
The hotel offers spacious and beautifully decorated rooms with a big TV and nice amenities, but lacks robes or slippers. The service was mixed with functional competence from mainly East European staff members. The location between the University College Dublin and the city center is perfect for walking enthusiasts. The dining was satisfactory but could improve in portion size for the price. The hotel has some standout features like free onsite parking and a bar with live music.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the food at the bar and restaurant was delicious. However, there were limited dining options for breakfast. The service was incredibly helpful, but there was no printer available for guests' use. The location was vibrant with plenty of nearby bars and restaurants. The hotel is about a 15-minute taxi ride from Croke Park. The facilities were great, especially the lively band on Friday night.
The hotel rooms, although lacking windows, were very comfortable and top of the range compared to other 4-star options in the area. The service was very helpful and pleasant, especially accommodating when we arrived late at night with 3 small kids. The location, while not ideal for walking to main areas like Temple Bar, was convenient with a bus stop right outside. The dining experience was forgettable, with limited options and seemingly overpriced. Overall, the hotel offers clean and cozy rooms with friendly service in a decent location, though the dining leaves much to be desired.
The hotel was lovely, staff very nice, overall very happy with everything. Rooms are very comfortable with a good size bathroom, fab and one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. However, the location was a bit small and had some cleanliness issues. The dining experience was great but with a few quality concerns.
The hotel surprised me with its spacious rooms and fantastic bathroom amenities. Although there were signs that the room hadn't been dusted in a while, overall, it exceeded my expectations. The friendly and helpful staff, especially the manager on duty during check-in, made my stay even better. The location is convenient for exploring town, Ballsbridge, Herbert Park, and Donnybrook village, with the added bonus of a lovely stroll to the city center. The dining experience was good, although some dishes were a bit greasy. On the downside, the location is a bit of a long walk to the city center, but the ample parking available around the hotel was a plus.
The hotel had lovely rooms, very nice staff, and an overall pleasant stay, despite the freezing cold in room 411. The enormous, comfortable, and clean room made up for the dated corridors, which needed updating.
